Personalized Baby Book

When I went to look for something quick and easy to compile memories, pictures, and stats for my first child, I became quickly annoyed with how different baby books are and how much I wanted to pick and choose different features.  As a result, I went ahead and created my own that I have very easily used for two (and soon to be three) kids.

Feel free to use the pages the same way I did or modify it to fit your needs.  Hopefully, these templates will help you create a manageable and still memorable baby book for your youngster!

What I Used:

  • Baby book pages
  • Creative Memories brand album (12″ x 12″)
  • Scrapbook pages
  • 12″ x 12″ Construction paper

(1)  Determine whether you’d like to intersperse relevant holidays with various weekly/monthly pages as well as pages for siblings, family, pets, etc.  I did this layout in a Power Point file because it was ultimately easier for me to determine which pictures/mementos should go on each page.

In the end, we had blank “scrapbook” pages for pictures with each set of grandparents, siblings/pet, our observed holidays, first birthday party, and any other big events we knew would be coming in the year (for instance, within the first year of my second child’s life, my brother got married, so we wanted to save a page of my son’s baby book to evidence that particular occasion).

(2)  Print out baby book pages and trim down.  Trim construction paper to 10″ x 10″ squares (make sure you have enough for the baby book pages as well as your additional pages for special family members/occasions).  Then, tape/glue/adhere to pages to trimmed construction paper.

I wanted to do a few specialty pages that I included in this round-up in addition to general pages for pictures with certain important people or various holidays.  I’ll detail these specialty pages below:

(a)  Family tree

(b)  Ultrasound pictures

(c)  Pregnancy test(s) and/or disclosure (either of pregnancy or gender)

(3)  Tape/glue construction paper and baby book pages to scrapbook pages.

(4)  Fill out and enjoy!
